In Quarter 3 of 2025, 50 humanitarian access incidents were reported, marking an increase from 45 incidents in Quarter 2. This represents a slight rising trend, indicating a deterioration in humanitarian access compared to the previous quarter. In this quarter, August recorded the highest number of access incidents (22), with Kismaayo (Lower Juba), Belet Xaawo and Luuq (Gedo), Bulo Burto and Moqokori (Hiraan), and Banadir region reporting the highest number among all regions, because of the concentration of armed clashes, inter-clan violence and administrative impediments in these areas. Violence or threats against humanitarian personnel and assets (12), restriction of movement of organizations personnel or goods (11), military operations and hostilities (11) and interference in the implementation of humanitarian activities (8) were the predominant constraint categories.
